The appellations
Domaine de Montille is composed of 17 hectares, principally based in the Côte de Beaune. Recently, several lovely plots from Nuits-Saint-Georges, Clos de Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée from the Côte de Nuits have been integrated. At the Domaine, things are kept simple. Etienne vinifies the pinot noirs, 18 in total, and Alix takes care of the chardonnays, four from the Domaine and 16 from her négociant house. The two share, however, the same values, those transmitted to them by their father Hubert. In their wines, one can still find the same aromatic purity, the same balance and the same elegance that established the Domaine’s current reputation.
